Los Angeles, CA -- (INTERNET WIRE) – 01/31/2002 -- QSOL.COM, Inc. today announced the availability of its new line of Intel® Xeon™ multi-processor based servers. 

QSOL’s new design allows for superior cooling and airflow for up to 88 Intel® Xeon™ 2.2GHz processors in a standard rack cabinet.  Each server is available with CD-ROM, floppy, and up to 360GB of storage per 1U server; up to 15TB per cabinet.

The Q1X is available with Dual Intel® Xeon™ processors running up to 2.2GHz and 512k cache.  With a 64-bit 66MHz PCI slot, the server can be configured with optional Gigabit Fiber, Dolphin Interconnect’s WulfKit, or a variety of other ultra high speed connections.

The Q1X is ideal for High Performance Computing or Clustered Supercomputers. A Cluster of these 1U Servers can be designed to combine the processing power, memory, hard drives, and interconnections to appear as one extremely powerful server.  Turnkey clustered systems are available from QSOL in groups of four through 128+ node systems.
