Q2900 Series Servers with 9 hot swap drives, the
second in a series of scalable, robust, low-cost
network-attached storage appliances. This 720GB 2

QSOL will be demonstrating several new Windows and
Linux based servers at the National Association of
Broadcasters show in Las Vegas, April 22 thru 26,
2001. Located at booth #S3150, QSOL will be
displaying several new products including the Q2900.
Designed for maximum storage in a 2U server, the
Q2900 Series Servers are available with Dual Intel ®
Pentium III processors, or a single Pentium 4
processor, up to 4GB of ECC RAM, and nine (9)
redundant 36GB SCSI drives or nine (9) hot swappable
80GB EIDE drives. With a maximum hot swappable
capacity of 720GB, one can place up to 15 Terabytes of
disk storage and server combinations in a standard
rack cabinet.
Powered by a 1.5GHz Intel Pentium ® 4 processor or
dual 1GHz Intel Pentium III ® processors, the Q2900
was designed as a convenient, cost-effective solution
for online data archiving, application server storage,
and performance application processing. The
Q2900 server meets the storage demand of streaming and
digital media companies, ISPs, Storage Service
Providers, and Application Service Providers.
QSOL’s user-friendly Online SysBuilder allows
time-pressed customers to configure and purchase
servers immediately. Users can choose from a number of rackmount servers and configure the processor, memory,
