Los Angeles, CA (10/02/03) – QSOL.COM Inc., an AMD partner offering Dual and Quad AMD Opteron™ processor-based servers, introduced its new remote-access server testing site today.  This online site will allow clients to log on and test the server from any location and run their own benchmarks. 

 

By testing the system in advance, clients can see how the server performs before purchasing one.  As a result, clients are able to test their own applications on the system and examine the server’s performance and capabilities. 

 

Equipped with two or four 64-bit AMD Opteron processors, the Quad AMD Opteron™ processor-based server is QSOL’s first four-processor system capable of running both 32-bit and 64-bit modes simultaneously.  The AMD Opteron™ processor is completely backward-compatible, delivering maximum flexibility.  Clients avoid expensive changes to existing software and can take advantage of the processor’s enhanced 32-bit performance without costly and resource-intensive recompiling or recoding.
